The
Church as well as it's followers are currently running both
community uplifting self sustaining poverty alleviation Projects
as well as Church Infrastructure enhancement projects. The aim
of the first project is to encourage entrepreneurs who can start
small businesses to enable communities to be self reliant.
Most of the
projects are family projects supporting families of 5 to 8
members per household.
To further
excerbate the problem, unemployment in Post Apartheid era has
increased mainly because of more people finishing matriculation
(Grade 12) but without further tertiary education. South Africa
is at cross roads. Such unemployment increases crime and
unsocial behaviour like use of drugs, unwanted pregnancies,
HIV/AIDS etc
We would appreciate
your contribution to make the projects to take off. All the
projects have passed initial assessment on their viability.
We are
happy to note that 3 projects have already been completed
successfully.
